Fall/Winter Boots

Hi everyone!

It's been a very long while since my last post.

I have been so busy with school and tests and everything.

But, I have a new post for you guys...although this is not make-up related.

It's about one of my favorite must-have for your wardrobe.

I am a boot type of girl when it comes to the colder weather.

(yes, i know its still BURNING outside, but getting ready early for your favorite seasons doesn't hurt :))

anywho.

about a month ago or so, Nordstrom had that anniversary sale...

and of course I had to grab myself some boots.

I bought the Steve Madden Steven, Style: Intyce, Color: Cognac.

These are my favorite boots! I am in love with the color and the feel of it.

Now, on the other hand, I was perusing the aisles of Target today, and came across a copy cat of the boots above. Upon seeing them, I was very angry inside because doesn't it hurt sometimes to buy something good quality and then seeing a copy cat version of it made by a Co. that sells them for cheap? But, instead of getting totally aggrevated, i decided to buy a pair. LOL. I bought this cheapy in black instead.

Price: $34.99 (not including tax)

Final Comparison:

Steve Madden:

• high quality, great feel in texture and fit ---> which leads to being more expensive
• love the color, something that can be worn everyday
• hits about around the knee
• the boot is the same length front and back

Target Mossimo:

• cheaper quality ( you can feel this instantly) because it is not real leather
• wears a little shorter on the leg, hits me a couple inches under the knee
• the back comes downward, where the shin is more curved upward
• only $34.99, around $100 less than Steve Maddens

Although both boots are completely the same, they are very quite similiar. If you are on a budget, go for the target one. If you would like to splurge, and wear something that is better quality that could last you longer, go for the other. Still, my fav. would have to be SM.

I came home about an hour ago.

Whipped out the camera and my purse.

haha, have you seen those hooks that you hang your purses

to the table so you don't have to put it on the floor?

i decorated to put my blotting sheets in.

and the makeup bag I had earlier filled with:

- a roll-on juicy couture perfume (the original)

-MAC Mineralize Skinfinish

(I depotted the original packaging and swapped it in the HK packaging)

-two lippies I wore today: MAC Hue on the L

and MAC A Rose Romance on the R

-a Sephora lipliner in Candid Candy

-Burts Bees lip balm

-a hair tie, and clip

-essence of beauty purse brush

and that is it!

What's in my purse post tomorrow?

So, I am going to try to be very active on this blog!

Although I am quite busy tomorrow, I am going to hopefully post up a "what's in your purse?" type of post. Maybe I will simply take pictures of the miscellaneous things in my bag? haha, I am not so sure how to do it the "no-video-way but have-it-in-a-blog". We'll see! Okay...and now back to studying :(

I am currently taking a summer session class to get one of my foreign language class out of the way of, so that when it comes to the fall quarter, I will be hopefully finishing up the 3rd language class and concentrate more on my major. But...enough about posting school related things for today. Until tomorrow!

New Start :)

Okay.

So I have finally started something that I have been wanting to do for a long time!

Seeing all these beautiful makeup and fashion beauty bloggers have got me wanting to create one and join in the fun as well!

YAY!

So here is to the new post :)

Maybe starting off with a little about me survey?

Not that I was tagged or anything, but just wanted to get this blog up and running!

LIPS
Love:

+I have never really liked lipstick until about a year ago. Normally I have somewhat dry lips, and just thought that lipsticks would only magnify that :/ But, I loveeee lipsticks now. Especially pinky nudes! Looks so great on everyone :)

Hate:

-I hate it when while wearing lipstick, and topping it off with a lipgloss, sometimes it makes the lines on your lips appear a little bit noticable :(

-Dry lips.

FACE

Love:

+I am loving my Aveeno clear skin moisturizer right now. Keeping those nasty blemishes at bay; although not completely clearing them.

Hate:

-I hate that I try very hard to achieve beautiful healthy skin, but somehow it doesn't always work that way :(
-So jealous of people with beautiful skin!

HAIR

Love:

+Long beautiful thick hair! I have very fine hair and sometimes certain types of hairstyles require thick hair!

Hate:

-I hate how slow my hair is growing :(

EYES

Love:

+Have always loved any kind of smokey eye. Although pulling off a simple winged eyeliner with very little makeup on and natural reddish lips are a major plus. I wish i can sometimes pull that look off. But...I have quite scared of red lips and looking like a clown!

Hate:

-Hm... I hate how dull brown my eyes are. I wish I could have some color in these babies!


BODY

Love:

+I love pale and tanned skin. I have gotten so used to my tan body that I want a change! Weird?

+Love boys with nice bodies ;)

Hate:
-my nonexistant boobs! hehhe :(

-uneven skin (which i have, unfortunately)
